Find the wrist bone
Measure just below it, not across the widest part of the hand and not too far up the forearm.
Use one page for both bracelet and necklace sizing: measure your wrist for bracelet fit, then compare necklace lengths by where they fall on the body.
Switch between bracelet and necklace tabs to size both categories with the same methodical flow: measure first, then choose the fit or drop you want.
Use a flexible measuring tape just below the wrist bone. Keep your hand relaxed, wrap the tape level around the wrist, and read the circumference without pulling tight.
Measure just below it, not across the widest part of the hand and not too far up the forearm.
The tape should sit flat against the skin all the way around, without twisting or dipping.
Open the hand naturally. A clenched fist or bent wrist changes the circumference reading.
If two readings differ, use the larger one. Comfort matters more than a tight number.
Enter your wrist circumference, then choose the fit you prefer. Natural stone beads need a little breathing room because the bead depth sits between the stringing and the wrist.
Standard fit: comfortable daily movement without feeling loose.
A bracelet that is technically the right length can still feel wrong if the bead size, wrist shape, or wearing preference is ignored. Use the table as a starting point, then size up if you prefer drape or if you are between sizes.
| Fit | Add to wrist | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Close | 0.5 cm / 0.25 in | A neat fit with minimal movement. Best if you dislike sliding. |
| Standard | 1.0-1.5 cm / 0.5 in | The most versatile daily fit. Comfortable with gentle movement. |
| Relaxed | 2.0 cm / 0.75 in | A looser bracelet feel, helpful for larger beads or warm weather swelling. |
Suggested bracelet: 15-16.5 cm, depending on fit preference.
Suggested bracelet: 16-17.5 cm for most daily wear.
Suggested bracelet: 17-18.5 cm. This is a common standard range.
Suggested bracelet: 18.5-20.5 cm, especially with larger beads.
If you are between sizes, choose the larger size for 8 mm and 10 mm beads, stacked styling, warm climates, or a wrist that changes size through the day. Choose the smaller size only if you intentionally prefer a close fit.
Necklace sizing is about visual drop. Use a string cut to the target length, place it around your neck, and check where it lands while standing naturally.
Cut string to 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, or 30 inches and place it where you plan to wear the necklace.
Check with your common tops. Crew necks usually need longer drops, while open necklines work with shorter to mid lengths.
Pendants add visual drop and weight. If the pendant is large, size up slightly to keep the front balanced.
Keep about 2 inches (5 cm) between layers so chains separate cleanly and tangle less.
Enter your intended chain length in cm or inches. The finder returns the closest standard category and expected body placement so customers can visualize fit before buying.
Princess length: usually lands on or just below the collarbone. Most versatile everyday start point.
Necklace naming is mostly about where it lands: collar/choker sits high, princess sits near collarbone, matinee drops to upper chest, and opera extends lower for statement layering.
| Length | cm | Typical fall |
|---|---|---|
| 14 in | 35.6 cm | Collar fit, high on the neck. |
| 16 in | 40.6 cm | Base of neck / short choker range. |
| 18 in | 45.7 cm | Collarbone to just below collarbone (princess). |
| 20 in | 50.8 cm | Below collarbone, upper chest. |
| 22 in | 55.9 cm | Upper chest, useful transition for layering. |
| 24 in | 61.0 cm | Mid chest / long matinee. |
| 30 in | 76.2 cm | Lower chest / opera length statement. |
Best for collar framing and short layering starts.
Most universal length for pendants and daily wear.
Drops below collarbone, ideal with v-necks and layered chains.
Mid to lower chest line for bold layers and higher necklines.
Body proportions and pendant weight can shift final placement. If between lengths, select longer or add an extender so the chain can be tuned by outfit.
